Emo Girl Guys. I Can’t Tell The Difference Between Emo Men and Women!
If someone could please give me some assistance, it would be really helpful. I have seen men and women before, and while normally it is really easy to tell the difference, those Emos are really starting to screw with my head. Normally a quick glance at someone can pretty quickly tell you the difference between man or woman but no those Emos must be difficult.
Between the clothes and the hair plus add in the disgusted look on their face it really is a nightmare. The hair especially is a problem. All of them are cut almost identical! There is nothing original there, and when they decided upon doing this matching hair cut thing they did not even decide to do separate styles for men and women. Oh that would be too simple, everybody all wears the same screwed up hair cut so you just have to stand there and guess if you are looking at a man or a woman.
Would it really kill them to open up to some creativity a bit and perhaps wear some clothes and hairstyles that help define them as separate genders a bit? I really was not aware that Emo was a completely separate gender but apparently, I missed a lesson in school when they covered that.

okay..emos are actually rlly differant. if you look at their clothes from a distance then they look the same, but if you pay attention then they have unique styles. and so what? big f*cking deal!! so people want to express themselves! you probably dont have enough courage to stand out!

Normally you can tell the difference with
lumps in their shirts or perhaps pants
if they’re .. turned on.
Last time i checked i have a vag, yet i
get called a guy most of the time big
deal .. some of us take pride in that
there are gender confused/ multigenders

mann i find all these sights funny when you get some sad little twat complaining over stupid issues. look dude just take the time and look closer at someone may they be “emo” or “CHAV” (they’re twats ha!) than judging them from far away. eventhough i’m female i get told i look like a guy by the style of my hair and clothes that i wear and you know what, i love it! I am not on anyones side here, but to be honest, I find it odd when people are always complaining about how different and unique they are, or want to be, but when you look at them they all pretty much look the same.. like what Brianne said ‘and we do not all have identical hair cuts they r all unique and VERY different’ but some ARE alike with the occasional diff ones, and now theres even websites on how to ‘look emo’…I find it absurd :S

Just one thing, have you ever seen a butch woman? I know for a fact that there are some out there who I find it hard to tell the difference (I know cos I’ve met them, and that’s when I found out…) and some effeminate men are also easy to confuse. So I don’t think this is a trait specific to the EMO movement, it exists throughout society wherever you go.

They all have fake problems so they can feel sorry for theirselves, shop at the same stores, listen to the same music, say rawr at least ten times a day, are “hardcore” and have to tell absolutely everyone, look like pandas, back-comb their hair, put black and white striped extensions in it, get their septum and lip pierced, have alliterations for names, wear skinny jeans, and loads of Hello Kitty shit, because absolutely no-one else does that.

umm i dress like a girl AND a guy..so? my boyfriend doesn’t dress like a chick, but he wears black, and has shaggy hair. people mistake us for brother and sister, but just cuz i have similar clothing styles? oh well..(btw we’re not emo or anything…more like “scene”)…

Look and see how girly the facial features are, and if they have skin tight clothing, you can generally tell.
I don’t normally dress particularly girly, and I’ve been known to wear boys clothes(mainly vests and t-shirts) but my eyes and figure are generally pretty girly, so unless I wear really baggy clothes people can usually tell I’m a girl. Except this one old lady who, when I opened the door at a store for her, said to my mom “you have that boy trained right”. But still, she prolly had some vision loss.
