Emo Guys Making Out In Crap Bars = Not Fun
There’s this scummy emo bar in the centre of town called “The Palace” and it’s basically full of 18 year old emo men making out. We went there once thanks to a friend of Dan’s, he obviously had one thing on his mind and it wasn’t just the cheap booze. It was a horrible place. There were only 2 other women there and one of them was this strange looking Aryan girl who kept ducking and diving underneath tables trying to find her lost cat. I think she was on drugs. I just don’t have time for deadbeats like that.
But anyway they played shit emo music all night and I wanted to leave by 11 o’clock. No-one actually took to the dancefloor! All of the emo guys stood in the corners biting the tongues off each other. It was enough to make you sick. They should have placed YMCA for Christ’s sake, that would have got them going!
What amazed me most about the place was that they don’t actually have a licenced bar! You have to buy “meal coupons” to get yourself a drink. It’s ridiculous. Something tells me that “The Palace” won’t be around for much longer. Thank God, I could seriously do without places like that.
Although to be perfectly honest I sometimes wish Dan would go there on his own one night and find a man. It’d mean we could split up and I wouldn’t have to feel guilty! I could send him on a guilt trip in fact! Although I wouldn’t overdo it was I realised how fragile that mofo was. He was in our house the other day doing the ironing in Mom’s pink apron and for some reason he was weeping. That boy’s gradually losing the plot.
