Why Emo Sucks (And Why It Will Continue To Suck For All Eternity)
- Cutting yourself is so 1995. Now I understand why emos do it though. If you’re as ugly as most of the emo people I’ve seen then you have a very valid reason to want to saw your arms off. Damn it! I’d saw my head off.
- Emos kill. An old lady a few blocks away gassed herself with her oven after atheist emos kept appearing at her doorstep, telling her that there was no afterlife. Her husband had only passed away recently too. Emo atheists are killers.
- As I’ve mentioned before emo is a mental illness. The government needs to enforce laws that will allow them to clampdown on all aspects of emo culture. If you are caught wearing black in public you should be detained overnight in a cell and beaten half to death with a mop. If you’re seen at a My Chemical Romance concert you should be sent to Guantamino Bay. No second chances.
- Emos smell like poo, treat themselves like poo and hit animals with poo.
- The music is banal balls that could be created by anyone who can hold a guitar. What the hell is it with My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy? Don’t they realize they sound like shit?
- Emos are dropping out of college in droves just so they can spend more time downing vast quantities of vodka whilst tearing their bodies to shreds. We need to deny them the right to an education if they aren’t gonna use it. Ban emos from college.
- Have you seen the type of porn emos watch? It’s diabolical. Apparently Gerard Way encourages his fans to watch ‘Cock and Ball Torture’ porn to quell any human compassion in these people. How sick is this? Don’t they realize that penises are a gift from God?
- All emos are atheists simply by association as they can never know God whilst they’re in the grips of something that’s so deeply Satanic. In any case, emos shouldn’t be entitled to the freedom of religious expression. They forfeited that right a long time ago.
- The hairstyles are fucking appalling and it’s catching on, on the catwalks too. This wouldn’t annoy me so much if the emo subculture remained ghettoized but now it’s catching on in the mainstream, it must be stopped. Do your country proud and carry a razor at all time so you can take the next emo you see down an alleyway and shave their head. These people need to understand that hair is a privilege, not a right in America. If they want to adopt a ridiculous hairstyle they can move to Cuba.
- God obviously hates emos too. Why would He have made these people so hideously ugly if that wasn’t the case? Why would He have made them so unintelligent?

Not all Emos are aethiests. I am buddhist! And so are all my Emo friends. Met most of them at a buddhist center. About 50 of us in total. I have been going a long time.

I have black hair, wear dark clothing and cut myself. And, I’m not ugly, in fact, lot’s of people tell me I’m really cute.I might have threatened that person’s life after he said it… But that was his fault.
The only person a normal Emo would kill is themselves, why would they kill someone else? I threaten to kill people a lot, nearly did once on accident, but that doesn’t make emo’s killers, it makes that person a killer.
It’s not a mental Illness you idiot, its a state of mind. Only a truly fucked up idiot would think it’s an illness.
Emo’s don’t smell like poo, all the emo’s I know take good care of how they look and what they smell like. Just cause you smell like poo doesn’t mean everyone else does.
Emo music is weird, but in a good way. It’s calming for some people.
Emo’s are still people, and most of them would continue to go on through college and prob go further. They might be healthier in the mind by the time there adults, but they can still finish college.
I’m not even gonna address the porn issue, that’s just stupid.
Not all emo’s are atheists. I’m a christian, and so are a few other emo’s I know. It’s a hard life living like that, getting shuned, but I still want to follow Christ while looking like I do and doing what I love.
The hairstyle is beautiful, and if you can’t appreciate the hard work that has gone into it then you can fuck off.

Okay…what the FUCK?! I’m not emo, as a matter of fact, I’m gothic. I used to cut myself on the arms and waistline starting at the age of 11 and ending at 14. I was fucking 11 years old! At that age, I looked like a completely normal little kid. Thus, cutting does NOT make you “emo.” Oh, and the whole porn thing? I did not get that. How would YOU know what kind of porn emos watch, anyway? Lastly, wearing the color black doesn’t mean you’re a psychotic killer. Black is a color, for fuck’s sake! Stop judging. It is true that Christians judge, the people at my church always give me dirty looks and the pastor usually makes some dumb comment on my outfit or something. (My mom forces me to go to church…)
